The Isle of Skye aerodrome is located on the coastal side of the A87 between the Skye Bridge at Kyle and the town of Broadford.

Look out for the Speed Kart Xtreme marker flags either side of the aerodrome entrance. Park on the gravel area by the Speed Kart Xtreme information board, being careful not to obstruct the main tarmac aerodrome access road. Proceed down the access road on foot to the main gate where there is pedestrian access to the airstrip.

Directions

From Kyle, take the A87 signposted for Portree and Broadford. The Aerodrome is located approximately six miles from Kyle and is on the coast side of the road.

From Broadford, take the A87 signposted for Kyle. The Aerodrome is located approximately five miles from Broadford with the turning on the coast side of the road.

If you plan to use a SatNav to find the aerodrome, the nearest 'effective' Post Code is IV42 8PZ. This gives a 'destination arrival' point of approximately 300 metres from the aerordorme. Please look for the 'Speed Kart Xtreme' road-side signs on either side of the road. Each has a 'Blokart' flag attached to catch your attention!
